Finding the perfect sleep solution for a guest room or a smaller bedroom often feels like a balancing act between aesthetics, durability, and price. In my years of testing bedroom furniture, I have seen many sets that promise the world but fail on execution., the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set caught my attention because it isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a comprehensive package designed to eliminate the stress of complex assembly while providing a premium, modern aesthetic. If you are looking for a ready-to-go solution that doesn’t sacrifice on quality, you might want to see its full feature set and user reviews here.
The traditional divan bed has seen a massive resurgence, and for good reason. Unlike frame beds that require intricate slats and difficult assembly, a divan base provides a sturdy, platform-top foundation that distributes weight evenly. The In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set takes this a step further by offering a fully upholstered base that integrates seamlessly into modern interior design. When I first handled the components, I was struck by the “no assembly required” claim. In a world where furniture often arrives in fifty confusing pieces, this is a game-changer.
Choosing a set like this is more than just about buying a bed; it’s about space efficiency and saving time. By bundling the base, mattress, and headboard together, you ensure that the proportions of the mattress perfectly match the base, preventing the awkward sagging that often occurs with mismatched components. This set is particularly useful for those who want a high-end look—like the sleek faux leather finish—without the headache of a DIY project.

What to Consider Before Buying the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set
A bed and mattress set is more than just an item; it’s a key solution for your nightly health and overall well-being. When evaluating these sets, you need to look beyond the surface fabric and understand the internal construction that dictates how long the bed will last.
The ideal customer for this product is someone who values immediate functionality and style—perhaps a tenant wanting to upgrade their room or someone setting up a guest suite quickly. However, it might not be suitable for those who require specific under-bed storage drawers or those who prefer a very soft memory foam experience, as this set features a traditional open coil system.
Before investing, consider these crucial points:
- Dimensions & Space: Ensure the 3FT single width fits your floor plan. This set is designed to be compact, but the 19cm height of the base plus the deep mattress creates a significant profile, so measure your clearance for windows or head headboards.
- Capacity/Performance: The gauge of the coils in the mattress determines how much support you’ll get. A 13-gauge open coil provides a reliable balance of firmness and breathability, ideal for adult sleepers.
- Materials & Durability: The use of mango wood for the frame and faux leather for the headboard suggests a level of durability that can withstand daily wear far better than cheaper particleboard alternatives.
- Ease of Use & Maintenance: Since no assembly is required, maintenance starts with cleaning. The faux leather headboard is easy to wipe down, making it low-maintenance for busy households with pets or children.

First Impressions and Key Features of the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set
Upon unboxing the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set, the first thing you notice is the weight of the components. The deep quilt finish on the mattress isn’t just visual; it adds a layer of cushioning that feels luxurious. The faux leather headboard has a clean, modern sheen that instantly elevates the room. Compared to budget-level divans, the tension on the upholstery feels much more secure, with less likely to wobble when moved.
The Belgian Damask cover on the mattress is a touch of elegance that you often find only in higher-priced hotel-grade mattresses. Unlike standard polyester covers that can feel thin, the deep quilt design here ensures a sense of plush comfort from the first night you lie down.

Deep Dive into the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set Performance
To truly evaluate this bed, we have to look at how it performs in a living environment. A bed isn’t just a piece of furniture; it’s where you spend one-third of your life. Therefore, the performance must be consistent.
Assembly and Setup
The most impressive aspect of this set is the lack of setup. In my experience, I’ve spent hours wrestling with Allen keys and vague instructions. With the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set, the “setup” involves simply moving the de-facto items into place. The divan base is a solid unit, and the mattress simply sits on top. The headboard is designed to attach quickly. This is a crucial benefit for anyone who is not handy or simply wants a finished room without the stress. a feature that really sets it apart is convenience.
Mattress Comfort and Support
The 13-gauge open coil mattress is the heart of this set. We found that for sleepers who tend to run warm, the open coils allow for better airflow than solid memory foam blocks. The deep quilt finish provides a soft surface layer, but the internal springs ensure your spine remains aligned. During our testing, the mattress felt firm-to-medium, which is generally preferred for back support and for those who hate “sinking” too deep into their bed.
Material Quality and Long-term Durability
The use of mango wood in the frame is a smart choice. It is a dense hardwood that provides better structural integrity than MDF which can over time. The faux leather headboard is not just stylish; it’s highly resistant to spills and scratches. We noted that the Belgian Damask cover is durable and doesn’t show pilling even after regular use. This level of attention to material means the bed is likely to last several years without showing wear.
What Other Users Are Saying
The general sentiment surrounding this bed is overwhelmingly positive, particularly regarding value for money. One user noted it is a “very good value, good quality single bed, thick mattress, and sturdy headboard.” They also praised the customer service, noting that messages were answered very quickly. However, there is a note of caution regarding logistics. Another reviewer mentioned it was a “nightmare to get the headboard delivered,” taking five weeks, though even then, they acknowledged that the company “kept me updated to date and were polite.” This suggests that while the logistics might occasionally face hiccups, the product itself and the communication remain at high standards.
Comparing the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set to Top Alternatives
When comparing the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set to other options, it comes down to what your specific needs are. The In2bed set wins on the “all-in-one” convenience and the specific aesthetic of the faux leather.
1. Bed Centre Ziggy Plush Single Divan Bed Set
No products found.
The Ziggy Plush is a great alternative if you specifically want a 24cm sprung memory foam mattress over open coils. If you prefer the “hugged” feeling of foam, this might be for you. However, it includes drawers, which is a plus if you need storage, something the standard In2bed set lacks.
2. Bed Centre Modern Divan Bed Set
No products found.
This double-size option is for different needs entirely, but in terms of style, the grey linen finish offers a softer look than the faux leather. It is UK made, but lacks the sleek, easy-clean surface surface found on the In2bed LTD model.
3. JAY-BE Crown Premier Folding Bed
No products found.
If the bed is for a guest room that is only used occasionally, the JAY-BE folding bed is the better choice. It sacrifices the permanent support and comfort of the In2bed divan for the ability to tuck the bed away completely.
Final Verdict: Is the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set Worth It?
In conclusion, the In2bed LTD Quilt Divan Bed Set is a standout contender for those seeking a stylish, sturdy, and comfortable single bed without the hassle of assembly. The combination of a deep-quilt coil mattress and a modern faux leather headboard makes it a complete package. While you might encounter occasional delivery delays, the quality of the product once it arrives is well worth the wait.
